Deimos is the next step of Recon and Exploration Ships, the ship have missiles, nuclear missiles and kinetic weapons as main weapons, Deimos is mostly a recon ships, at difference of her predecesor, Hermes, that was an attack ship, in the hangar of the Deimos is mostly full of Raptors and Stealth Stars, never the less have four Squadrons of Vipers Mark VII.

Deimos like moderns ships, have FTL capacity and Hyperdrive, and have added to her hull long range sensors with atmospheric sensor to study the data of the atmospher of possible habitable planets, and have long range communication sensor so she made long range transmitions to the buoys nears the Interstelar Vortexs.
