The Korinthos was designed for one thing, hunt and destroy, this is a assault ship no a carrier, so his hull is full of bateries, never the less, the Korinthos have de capacity to be a carrier.

First the Korinthos was in the Centauri War, protecting the Narn planet from the Centauri Invasion, because the Narn were allies of the Colonies, never mind that the Colonials didnt trust to much in their aliens allies, but they were true of their word.

After the Centauri War, the Korinthos was in the brief conflict with the Cylon, the ship destroy many Base Ship from the Cylon.

Then the Korinthos was send to the Andromeda galaxy in the fall of the Galactic Republic and the rise of the Galactic Empire, and the creation if the Intergalactic Alliance.

The Korinthos is full armed with kinetic weapons, missiles and nuclear missiles like all modern battlestars, the Korinthos have a FTL drive and a Hyperdrive engine, as well have a ZPM as power source.
